| the cubs just lost. again. they had the lead into the 9th and then blew it. they've been so bad lately. originally they were doing pretty good, then they lost derek lee and everything's gone down hill. at least maddux and marshall have been doing okay (save marshall's last game). ugh... it's becoming painful to watch.
on a brighter note, i finished all my ap's : ) thank god. that was probably one of my hardest weeks ever. a busy weekend, two days of back to back ap tests(a total of 4 in 48 hours), and to top it off a scholarship interview. i was so flattered to make it into the top few finalists for the scholarship, but i'm not really good at selling myself. we'll see how it goes. so i haven't really updated in a while. i'm going to U of I , for sure next year. i'm so excited. only 7 more days of high school left. it's kind of sad, but i've been ready for it to end for a while now. | | |

- worked. a lot.
- won a free pepsi from a cap (the first time ever

- the next day, i won a free liter of coke
- went dancing
 (sexy churro...lol)
- joined the ymca
- took a cycling/spinning class
- was ridiculously sore the next day
- got a new computer (well my family did...) and i love it
- am no longer living in the dark ages of windows 98 and no cd burner
- we also got a digital camera
- made top 30
- tried pomegranete juice (it really wakes you up...)
- also tried a chai tea latte (kinda made me sleepy)
- helped push a van up an icy hill
- started a rumor (oops....it was an accident. seriously)
- helped plan the first olympic-jello-pot-luck ever
- learned how to make puppy chow
- went to wisconsin twice
- have had a enormous pile of scholarship apps on my floor that i've barely touched...
- really got into the Office
- started following college basketball (crazy... i know)

| wow it's been a year since i started this thing...
last night was fun. but i woke up sick this morning, which sucks. what a way to start the new year...
break has been fun so far. next week is going to be better (probably). i turn 18 next sunday : ) but then we have to go back to school, which means i'm going to have to finish my gov't hw. not looking forward to that.... oh well. | | |
